In a bizarre collaboration that breaks conventional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Disclosed

According to the official announcement, "A strange confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of prohibited rituals and fearsome transformations reverberate through the shadows." The plot presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a clandestine sect.

The mission concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Changes

The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser ends with a dramatic sequence showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Items and Additional Content

Players who accomplish the adventure will acquire an unique katana together with multiple items hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
